I noticed yesterday that Rogers in Canada is closing all its video stores. So with this and the end of Blockbuster, I can't rent DVDs anymore unless I find a small independent store. This means that I can't watch certain movies when I want to. On Demand is still in its infancy and has a limited library, Zip.ca as a mail service is good, but it can take months to get popular titles, and with Netflix, there are bandwidth issues. Hopefully this new business model improves significantly pretty soon. I want to see stuff like The Hangover
and The Ides of March
and I can't.
