Traditional WW fans seem to hate it and that seems to hurt sales.
It's still a Top 25 book; I'm not sure any other era of Wonder Woman
could claim that. If Wonder Woman
's urban fantasy/horror vibe is "hurt[ing] sales," it's not hurting them in this reality.
