Um, with the phone gag it's pretty obvious this was just supposed to be a fun little reintroduction to her character, playing off of the old "tied up in a chair" cliche.
I really doubt they were going for some kind of brilliantly original fight sequence here (and in fact that likely would have ruined the joke).
Personally I thought it was a lot of fun.
