Re: Welcome Fellow Trekkies! The GTD Get to Know You thread

I was born quite literally into Trek. When I was 18 months old, my grandmother was trying to ferry me onto a plane, but ended up having to produce a copy of my birth certificate to the airline staff to prove I was under 2 years of age, because I was speaking in fluent sentences. Of course, all I was saying was "Space, the final frontier - these are the voyages of the starship Enterprise." I couldn't get any further than that back then. A bit later, I learned to count with the films - you know, 1, V'ger, 2, Khan, 3, Spock, 4, Whales, 5, God. Wore those VHS tapes out, I did.

That's a cool story. Welcome on board!
As for the novels, though I've lost interest in them recently, there are some very good ones out there. And the DS9 Relaunch novels (which continue the story) are quite excellent.
