i pictured them as looking like Doctor Manhatten, but with solid black eyes, long spindly fingers and tubes from their heads to their shoulders and with no blue wangs on show.
it kinda slowly evolved into just seeing them as Doctor Manhatten... until Mack reminded us about the alien features, but i kept forgetting them.
