I find that the whole point of customised ringtones is to raise a mild grin (or mild annoyance) in those around you. Why else have one?
It's also mildly amusing to see who recognises the tune. I have Magnum PI on mine. Not many get it precisely, but almost everyone recognises it as something vaguely 80s-ish.
