I thought the ending, with Kes leaving the ship and transforming, felt a bit rushed, but it was still effective.
I liked it back when I first saw it.
Since that time, I've come to realize that the ending is such a blatant
rip-off of the ending of Babylon 5's "Mind War" that it's not even funny. They could have at least tried
to hide it....
Actually, it was more like TNG's "Transfigurations"...which had the plot of "Mind War" before B5 did it.
