A nice, interesting tale. I must admit, as someone who hasn't followed your fanfic universe, it was a little difficult to truly comprehend the conflict the main character feels. Still, I got the idea eventually. It's nice to see her father--now a grandfather--learn to look past his prejudice. (In a way, he reminds me of Clint Eastwood's character in Gran Torino
