The postman just brought me this
Sorry about the crappiness of the photo, I used my cheapo camera rather than go into the other room and retrieve my good camera.
The Complete Calvin and Hobbes. A Christmas present to myself. Three large, hardbook volumes in a cover. 1456 pages. The set weights 10.2 kg. I bought it on Amazon UK for 43 pounds which is around $78 AUS (price has now risen to now 50 pounds). I got free postage. The set is listed on the US Amazon for $91.77 so I think I got them for a very good price.
Now I am going to wrap them and put them under the tree and act surprised when I open them on Xmas morning
I plan to spend some of Christmas Day reading them.
