Definitely some prettier actors and slicker costumes than in the first Alien. But then I guess these aren't the same blue-collar, coal miner types we saw before either.
To me the real key is whether Scott can recapture the same incredible
atmosphere the first movie had. Hopefully he doesn't try to go for a more modern, faster-paced kind of thing, with a bunch of unnecessary music and action.
