Let me put on my rain poncho, and say that I actually liked Nemesis
a lot. Frankly, though...a LOT of the deleted scenes--including the sequence with Worf and the Romulan doctor near the end--would have made it a lot better...and I think more palatable to the angry fans.
It wasn't Logan's writing. It was Stuart Baird--a NON-fan, who cut a lot of great stuff that normally would be must-haves
for Trek--being the director.
Also...didn't John Logan write Gladiator
? That one wasn't too
bad, was it?
"The saying implies but does not name the effective agency of its supposed utopia.... 'Needs and abilities' are, of course, subjective. So the operative statement may be reduced to 'the State shall take, the State shall give'."
