But my point is that it's established in the movie that he's older and is almost a plot point in the case of Raiders.
I'm not denying that there is an element of hypocrisy. I'm just saying that Indy is a terrible example.

But if you are still going to be nitpicky, how about this (still using Indy as an example): Ford is 12 years older than Kate Capshaw and 24 years older than Alison Doody. No one complains.
