I liked the WW II outfit because in some ways it looked like something someone might wear for practical reasons - it's protective, among other things. And it works well for the period. It leans just a bit in the "Iron Man" direction there.
outfit is just day-glo superhero long-johns, same as Green Lantern or Superman's outfit. Ho-hum.
A couple of really cool characters and potential film series - Iron Man
and Captain America
- are being sacrificed on the altar of Marvel's super-colossal moneymaking Mega Franchise. I understand the business reasoning, but it's still a pity that the studio can't be more creative and less clumsy about it all.
