I've probably read close to two thousand books in my almost thirty years of life, and I have to say that my two favorite books are both written by Star Trek authors. One is Star Trek and the other is not.
David Mack did a great job with his original novel The Calling
and I recommend it to urban fantasy lovers.
Kirsten, IMHO, Children of the Storm
is the best Star Trek novel written in the history of the franchise. Your grasp of the characters of Voyager and the ideals at the core of the Federation is a breath of fresh air. To echo others on here, this really is a wonderful piece of writing and puts Star Trek back where it belongs.
