The original film got a sequel and also another tv remake. You know that Hollywood has ran out of ideas when they start remaking movies that already had a remake.

Hollywood is more about making money than making good cinema.
Seems to be the trend these days. Take News outlets...they are more about their political agenda than reporting the news accurately and without bias.
We are living in the dark ages again.
