I'm sure this is me just having a brain freeze, but what episode/book/comic has the story about the Defiant making several loops through time to retrieve crewmates, after seeing reality change around them? It's referenced in Chapter 3.
Past Tense
, I think. Kira and O'Brien making several trips through time to find Sisko, Bashir and Dax? They realize something went screwy in time when they can't pick up any Federation signals in their present, only a Romulan transmission from Alpha Centauri, but they of course remember the "real" history.
