I'm thinking that Kestrel was meaning that comic books are and should be considered a form of art rather than being dismissed as nothing more than kiddie books as they're mostly thought of...but that's just how I took the comment.
I got that but that still doesn't relate to what I said.
My comment was the difference in how a director like Aronofsky views cinema vs. how a studio like FOX views it.
It has nothing to do with the source material of the film.
Besides, could I be a comic book fan, be a member of a site like this if I didn't understand that comics are a form of art?
