There's no telling what I might've done, in Kapoor's position. Even with the relationship with Karama...I might've packed my bags--tearfully--and left. Maybe that's the "Cardassian" in me...if I felt like I was betraying my people, even if I disagreed with them, I don't think I could live with myself. Especially not where that could mean allowing or being part of a coup that would let the cruel types come back into power. (And while we know it wasn't quite that bad, thanks to
Shadow and
Rayak Nor, no reasonable Federation citizen would think otherwise.)
