He is called "The Wolverine" all the time in the comics...I fucking love it!
And the fact that he lost his memory at the end of "Origins" makes it so easy to continue on with no connection to that previous piece of shit and yet still have it make sense within the story. You can "forget" about Origins the same way the character does!
Aronofsky, McQuarrie, Jackman, Libatique, hopefully Mansell et al are making my pants bulge.
I don't think I've ever seen a comic where he's called 'The
Beat me to it. I can't recall it ever happening, either. There are plenty of instances where "The" has preceded "Batman," but I've never seen it with Wolvie.
The only time I've heard it was in the first X-men movie, though I suppose that's enough for this one, continuity-wise.
