I just watched it on DVR and I thought it was a really solid, standalone episode. Something that this series has never been really good at doing. A HUGE improvement over last week's episode.
Its nice to see the effects of the meteor show outside of Smallville. Too often the world of this show is so well....
small. With little sense of a world outside the melodrama of the current cast members.
Streamlining the cast this season has been a great benefit. Allowing for more strongly defined A and B plots. Like continuing tonight's with Tess and A
LEXander, which I find very effective.
