Everyone I know (here in soggy old England) only has plastic trees. We binned one a couple of years ago that I'd known my whole life. It was well past it's time, but I grew up with that tree and felt horrible getting rid of it
When I was in single-digits, I'd fly my little Enterprise toy between the branches and pretend it was a gigantic Crystalline Entity.
