For tonight, I have a bone-in pork roast sitting in the crock pot over white and sweet onions, fresh potatoes, and chopped garlic (all the vegetables came from the farmers' market). That'll be dished up with boiled sweet corn, fresh stuffing and another salad.
For the record, holy shit -- this was amazing
. The pork just fell right off the bone. I then turned around and made some pork stock with the bone from the roast, and I plan on making split-pea soup with it.
