He asked me for permission to examine me, he explained clearly he would have to touch me directly and made sure several times I understood that.
That's great and I wish more doctors were like that. Nothing is more awkward and uncomfortable than being poked and/or prodded and/or grabbed without adequate warning by a doctor.
