I think it's "safe" to say that Safe is generally regarded as the weakest of all firefly episodes. If you like this, it only gets better  |
Personally, I found a few of the early episodes, especially
Bushwhacked and
The Train Job a bit slight. Not bad, but they didn't really grab me. What I especially like about
Safe is the character focus on Simon and River.
I've not seen the whole series yet, but it does seem to get better as it goes on.
Out of Gas and
Ariel are the last two I saw and they're definitely my favourite episodes so far.
