As usual, you bring a strong, emotional punch to your writing. There's a depth to your characters that is captivating - beyond personality or physical attributes. You manage to capture and portray the spiritual side of these familiar/strange characters without turning them into caricatures. A risky endeavor, but you do it very well.
Poignant and well-written. You leave the reader feeling hopeful but unsure . . . a great way to keep us engaged.
