The liberal use of commas aside, I really enjoyed this chapter.
Maren and Icheb together again. It's about time. And it's a good thing that she came clean with him about what she has done and said in his absence. Iceb is taking it well so far, even while the repercussions of the truth are not quite clear. That there will be repercussions, for both of them, is obvious.
For now Maren needs to get her head on straight. She seems awfully distracted and could become a liability on a mission that can't afford any mistakes.
