Two of my favourite films -
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and
The Fountain - could be describe as sci-fi romances, so I'm certainly amenable to the notion. Yet, reading the synopsis, something suggests that this film is going to strike too light a tone for my tastes. Oh well, I'll keep an eye on it.
