What we REALLY need is for someone with talent to take a new look at UNIDENTIFIED FLYING ODDBALL, a Dennis Dugan classic from the late '70s that featured a pretty cool looking mini-shuttle.
As I recall, that was itself a remake, an updating of Mark Twain's A Confederate Yankee in King Arthur's Court
. Indeed, its re-release title was A Spaceman in King Arthur's Court
I think if you're going to do a remake of Twain's tale, it should be of Twain's tale, without the Disney intrusions.
