I don't know what this means. Can anyone tell us about Captain America in the 1960's and 1970's? What was wrong with them? |
Possibly he just means they're relying mainly on the more modern comics for inspiration (by which I'm guessing he means Ed Brubaker (good) and Mark Millar (ehhhh)).
That's a very garbled statement, though, because he makes it sound like they're actually going to the present, when from what he says elsewhere it's all-World War II (apart from a framing sequence).
