That's a good point, humans sometimes want to preserve life to ridiculous measures, IMO... and sometimes good die with bad tragically... and sometimes it's part of heroism by the good...
Yes--and isn't that one of the big ironys of war, today? We try to preserve life so much with The Rules Of War--rules which the enemy almost NEVER follows--which always results in the war going on longer than it should...and therefore, more lives are lost in the long run. *sigh*
