I agree with Nerys
that you present Bashir and Ezri as a convincing couple; the trust and general comfort they show around one another is indeed evident. I find the conversation convincing, too.
The link between Bashir and Tarses-- their respective career-threatening cover-ups --is also certainly worthy of exploration.
