Aha. Haven't seen any of the Tennant ones yet, but it seems also that the moon/planet things in the background are from there, too.

And the "bow" shaped building of that pair was inspired by a real life resort hotel in the nation of Dubai (where the BBC recorded the sand dune scenes from the last special "Planet of the Dead"). |
Now that you point it out, I recognize the Burj Al Arab, which imitates the shape of a sail.
