Re: Movies Seen in 2009

I've only seen two movies in the theatre this year:
Star Trek

On DVD, I've seen quite a few - probably close to 100 films. Most of them were classic (pre-1965) films however, so I won't bother typing them out as most people around here don't know and don't care about them. I'll just say that I watched alot of Paul Newman pictures this year (for obvious reasons), alot of Tyrone Power pictures (he had a huge boxed set of films come out this past year), alot of Truffaut films (got on a kick), alot of John Mills films (tons came out in the UK this past year as it was his centennial birthday), alot of Dirk Bogarde films (another kick), and several Sean Connery films (he was Star of the Month for May on TCM).

"Modern" movies I've seen this year on DVD:

Underworld: Evolution
(looking at BigFoot's avatar every day for about 4 years FINALLY broke me down )
The Reader
P.S. I Love You
The White Countess
Support Your Local Sheriff
(could be classified as classic film though since it's 1968)

There are probably a few others, but those are the ones I remember off the top of my head.
DS9 on DVD - Now 99.923% Borg-Free!

Star Trek XI - "You know, if you have ten extra sombreros lying around, I have an idea on how to improve your current avatar..." - Samuel T. Cogley
