Excellent tale. Tragic and dark, almost Shakesperian in its power. And it really helps the reader to understand this man...and why he was this
close to giving up and shooting himself on DS9.
A child seeing his father stoned before him is traumatic enough--but to have him be forced to cast the stone--
(Shudder!) Trauma doesn't begin
to describe it....
