I think this is part of why the woman at the counter kind of looked at the group funny when they went in there--in her mind, a bunch of teenage boys + this kind of movie = up to no good.
To me, there's a real problem with celebrity culture, and the way people are treated in general these days. It's as though they're objects, not people who might have feelings about how they're treated and looked at by others. I think a person should be able to be an artist of whatever type they wish without automatically getting that sort of degradation. I think the introduction of holodeck technology would kick that up to fever pitch, sadly.
