Oh, he was also in a little known show called
Spaced which came well before
Shaun of the Dead and
Hot Fuzz, but I was just commenting as I personally associate him with very dark humour and I'd guess that people who go and see Star Trek will consider Scotty a comedy character as thats what Pegg is known for. Plus in October 2007 when it was announced, it for me came a little unexpected so it would be nice to read why he was choosen for the role.
