I've yet to read something from
SLWatson that doesn't impress me. Internal character conflict is tough to write. Making it flow nicely is even harder. My vote goes to
Across The Road for exactly those reasons.
I also voted for
It's Four In the Morning which was also splendidly composed and gave us a fascinating insight into the previously mostly unexplored Riker/Riker relationship.
I'm torn about my runner-up pick so I'm not going to pick one. A number of solid entries this month.
