Ah, I just finished season one tonight. Man, that went by so fast! I LOVED the final twist of the season. This one I can honestly say surprised me. I only figured it out...

The Lt (or was it the creepy guy?) was right, the end was poetic. But not for the reasons they stated. Dexter may be a serial killer but he ain't your cookie-cutter psychopath. He's interesting. I think I may be netflixing season two sooner than I planned.

ETA: More big twists on the way? Cool! I look forward to more creepy, clever, mind-bending fun.

This one I can honestly say surprised me. I only figured it out... when we saw Dexter's mom had multi-colored fingernail poilsh. I knew it couldn't be a coincidence. Like all things, it was a sign, hiding in plain sight all along. I guessed the ice truck killer was Dexter's brother mere moments before the reveal. And then everything made sense. It was cool.
