To those who love the comic book version, the Ross paintings are near-perfect (albeit as a 50-ish Superman)... while those who think only of Reeves see a reflection of him in Routh's face.
Except he hasn't just drawn the 50 year old version - it's been the young version in stories like Justice
and he still looks wrong to this comicbook fan. It's fairly incorrect to say that all comic book fans love his version - a fairly percentage of us dislike it greatly.
