KIRK's bike
The motor-bike he was riding wasn't a relic as much as the car was. I wonder what kind of motor it used because, at times, it sounded like the Jetson's car. I can only imagine what a GREEN Motorbike (meaning enviroment friendly) would look like. In fact, I hope it never happens!!!
Well, whatever it was, it seemed to move along pretty fast in one of those shots of him speeding in the night, on the way to Riverside. Did anyone happen to see what brand it was? Product endorcement? Rob |
Re: KIRK's bike
AFAIK, it had no visible markings. Just a generic bike of the future.
Bet that yard supervisor was thrilled to get it for free, though... |

I'd like to point out-no helmet laws in the 22nd century. You'd think that the nanny state would have survived that long.

Personal force-field generator. If only poor Jim had the presence of mind to turn it on in the bar...

Re: KIRK's bike
In the book, it makes a point of the fact that the wheels are "spokeless." Take a look at it; sure enough, they are spokeless. Kinda interesting.

Re: KIRK's bike
Actually it's a BMW, you can see the emblem on the side toward the rear in the shot of Kirk looking up at the unfinished Enterprise.

Re: KIRK's bike
I thought at first it was a hover bike, screen shots flew by so fast couldnt tell.

Re: KIRK's bike
That bike does not exist. If it was "for real" no one would buy it and it would not meet safety standards. Take a good look and tell me it is not prone to unwanted wheelies.
