Mr. Happy Died Last Night
 

I was given Mr. Happy when I was a small boy. The Mr. Men books are some of the first books I remember. Mr. Tickle. Little Miss Priss. Mr. Square. Mr. Grump. Fine characters, all. Fine characters. Mr. Happy found a home in the attic for many years, then one day was cleaned out and returned to me. He's sat on a shelf ever since. At some point last night, it seems he decided to go for a stroll. Little could he have known the horror that awaited him.

The police have released the following photos of a "Creature of Interest" in this case. He was known to be at the scene during or near the time the crime took place.

The Creature of Interest is a black male, approx. 28 dog years of age. Though it is unclear at this time, he may suffer from an addiction to bacon.
