<ul><li>According to the <A class="link" HREF="http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/men/article5330780.ece">Times Online</A>, <i>Star Trek XI's</i> <font color=yellow>Eric Bana</font> (Nero) is directing <i>Love the Beast</i>, a movie that explores a twenty-five-year relationship between a man and his car. Bana himself is a car fanatic, and owns a 1974 Ford Falcon coupe bought for him by his father when he was fifteen. <i>Love the Beast</i> will be released in 2009.<p><li>The <A class="link" HREF="http://blogs.mercurynews.com/aei/2008/12/13/baby-beats-beyond-an-exclusive-interview-with-leonard-nimoy/">Mercury News</A> reports that <font color=yellow>Leonard Nimoy</font> will be narrating <i>Peter and the Wolf</i> with the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra at Davies Symphony Hall on Sunday, December 14th. Nimoy spoke briefly about <i>Star Trek XI</i>. "It's going to be quite an experience," he said. I think it's a marvelous film, a major event in the history of 'Star Trek.'"<p><li>As reported by <A class="link" HREF="http://www.moviehole.net/200816927-imax-to-boldly-go">Moviehole</A>, it has been confirmed that <i>Star Trek XI</i> will be released at both IMAX and conventional theaters , as mentioned in a previous article at <A class="link" HREF="http://www.trektoday.com/news/251108_01.shtml">TrekToday</A>. "I'm thrilled that audiences will be able to experience this new, epic world of 'Star Trek,' with an incredible cast and mind-blowing visual effects, on what is, obviously, the most remarkable film format in the world," said <font color=yellow>J.J. Abrams</font>.<p><li><A class="link" HREF="http://trekmovie.com/2008/12/13/fanmade-behind-the-scenes-at-phase-ii-meet-the-new-deltan/">TrekMovie.com</A> received a short video showing behind-the-scenes action during the production of the <i>Star Trek: Phase II</i> episode <i>The Child</i>. <i>The Child</i> was originally written in the 1970s for <i>Star Trek's</i> proposed <i>Phase II</i> project. En route to meet with "Star Trek geeks," Shatner takes time to visit Pike Place Market where in addition to checking out the produce, he finds out that <i>Star Trek</i> fans are everywhere and that there is no such thing as a "nice quiet walk."<p></ul><center></center>
