Pine On 'Quantum Quest'
 

<font color=yellow>Chris Pine</font> joins other <i>Star Trek</i> actors in an animated science fiction movie about a photon's fight for survival for his kind.<p>As reported by <A class="link" HREF="http://trekmovie.com">TrekMovie.com</A>, Pine is joined by several former <i>Star Trek</i> actors in <i>Quantum Quest</i>. Also heard are: <i>Star Trek: Voyager's</i> <font color=yellow>Robert Picardo</font>, <i>Star Trek: The Next Generation's</i> <font color=yellow>Brent Spiner</font>, and <font color=yellow>William Shatner</font>.<p><i>Quantum Quest</i> was written and directed by <font color=yellow>Harry Kloor</font>, who wrote several <i>Star Trek: Voyager</i> episodes (<i>Drone</i>, <i>Scientific Method</i>, <i>The Raven</i> and <i>Real Life</i>.) <p>The movie tells the story of Dave, a photon from inside the sun, who belongs to the forces of the Core, which is battling against forces of the Void for the fate of the universe. Dave is being played by Pine. Shatner is voicing the character of the Core. <p>According to Pine, making the film "was a blast." As for the coincidence of both "Captain Kirks" being in the same film? "The interesting trivia is that William Shatner, the O.G. original James T. Kirk, is playing The Core in the movie and I have a small scene in the beginning where The Core kind of surprises me, and The Core is essentially God," said Pine. It's Star Trek: Voyager's Robert Picardo and Star Trek: The Next Generation's Brent Spiner but it's just William Shatner. Not Star Trek's William Shatner. Interesting. :vulcan:

Because *everybody* knows who the Shat is. I felt I didn't need to put "original series" next to his name. :p
