Sports video memories

I hadn't seen this Michael Jordan commercial for Gatorade in a long time. Beautifully edited, it's fun to watch ... not to mention list to as well.

The Top 15 "Human highlight reels" of all time?

I don't know that I'd agree with this site that this collection is so, but it is a very nice one nonetheless. It covers American football, soccer, boxing, basketball.

Oh, that's great. I don't think I've ever seen that one before.

However, this one remains my favorite Michael Jordan commercial. :D

Figo, Kluivert, Davids, Maldini, Cantona, Rui Costa and Ronaldo in this classic Nike commercial.

To fix the link. - Bird & Jordan ... yeah, that is one of the best, partly because it's two of the greatest players ever in the sport.

No argument here, although there is a version out there that plays the last couple of minutes, making that shot seem even more dramatic.

Oops, thanks for that. I would have normally noticed that, but vBulletin kept it as a link whereas UBB would have just shown the messed up code.

Here is a rather poor video of that game.

Kentucky - Duke 1992 (2 minutes left)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oN145FoXzY

Michael Johnson running the 200 m in 19.32 on the biggest stage (many consider this record as unbreakable).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIQ5S3TqgP0

Carlos Alberto's goal in the 1970 World Cup final (Brazil-Italy). Words cannot described on how good this goal is. From the patient teamwork in the setup to the perfect finish (the ball took a bounce before it was kicked) which broke down a very stingy and tough Italian defense.

Here are the other goals in that game.

Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh hits a record 6 Sixes vs England in the Super 8's clash of the Twenty20 World Cup (2007). This is a video from the Live telecast..ball-by-ball.

Some absolutely amazing hitting.

And THIS is how you play the game: minor league ball girl shows the outfielder how the game is supposed to be played.
