Does this prove that is the Enterpise crashing into the buildings?

No. I cannot believe there is any debate about this whatsoever. The ship crashing into the water/buildings doesn't even look like the Enterprise. They are different designs.

I agree...but I think all the marketing wants people to think otherwise.

I suspect both ships fall. The Enterprise rights itself at the last minute, Harrison's doesn't.

Also: Nice poster!:bolian: Reminds me a little of "Tomorrow is Yesterday". But better.

No.

Doesn't mean it's not a cool poster, though.

There's certainly an "all hell is breaking loose" vibe to marketing this movie.

I'll say one thing, as beat-up as that ship is, it will surely take a miracle to right it. The warp engines are out, and it looks like the area near the impulse engines is pretty well damaged, too.

Looks stunning.

Another thing I appreciate, is how there's no top dog cast listing. Alphabetical order everytime.

Old school listing would make you think John Cho was Kirk, and Benedict Cumberbatch, Spock. Now that's a parallel universe! :D

That poster actually makes me a bit horny.

Chair legs make you a bit horny.

Notably, the U.S. poster is the first to feature the Enterprise so prominently - and they certainly know how to get trekkies' attention.

The posters up to this point have been a bit "uninspired".

Burn baby, burn.

I know that's terrible but dammit, I loath that ship. It is, other than much of VOY, ENT, & NEM sucking to high heaven, the first thing I've ever gotten major butthurt over.

Okay, to be fair, I wasn't exactly thrilled with the Refit nacelles either but that never really bothered me so much.

Is there one person producing every movie poster for every action film now? They all look the same : /

At least Iron Man got there first with its thing falling out the sky poster...

Re: New Poster

Looks like the theories about the Enterprise getting thrown back in time are correct... the smoke trail proves that the Enterprise WAS the Russian meteor!!! :rommie:
