OK then, since it falls to me to do this again - and since I don't want to pick some obscure English subject that most of you will claim never to have heard of... - this contest is about the Planet of Hats! In other words, depictions of alien culture as represented by strange and outlandish headgear - the weirder the better. (So not sci-fi characters wearing ordinary hats like most of the Doctor Whos for instance.)

Usual rules apply, and entries stay open for 72 hours or so.

That's not a very strange hat. It's a strange creature in a normal looking hat.
