Just wondering we had another trailer for the 1st Star Trek movie due to the Super Bowl TV and movie hype. Will we get a anything this time ?? Any News ???

There will be a 30 second spot during the second quarter and you will be able to unlock an extended version of that using the Sta Trek app on your smartphone.

Fingers crossed for some more off-Earth shots. Although it is kinda neat just how little we still know about this movie despite it's relatively imminent release.

Cumberbatch showed more menace and presence in that TV Spot than Bana's Nero did for the entirety of his Razzie-worthy performance.

Genuinely got me quite excited.

I was really taken by the image of the Enterprise plummeting towards the planet, presumably Earth.

I have to admit, the more I see, the more I'm getting interested in this movie. I also think that getting Cumberbatch over Del Toro as Harrison is a HUGE plus.

Bana's voice seemed to alter between surfer dude and Christian Bale's Batman at random, making his character come across as extremely bipolar. Which, when combined with his lack of motivation ("A vulcan tried his best to save my wife but couldn't, so I'm gonna wait 25 years and then blow up the Earth!" WTF) made him impossible to take seriously.

Cumberbatch seems like he's gonna be a truly charismatic threat akin to Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight and Javier Bardem in Skyfall. Some real improvement is being made on the previous film and his character is the thing I'm excited about in this movie. He's like a member of the Maquis but with superpowers.
