Hello, all! Welcome to another exciting edition of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Avatar Contest! I have the honor of hosting this time around, after smashing the competition in our recent MCU contest. :D

In honor of the Fringe series finale that aired over the weekend, Kai "the spy" suggested that our next theme be Big Finales, your favorite scenes from any SF/F series finale (not season finale). I've also decided to expand the contest to films, provided that they had a true finale and not just a random sequel that continued the franchise.

That means movies like The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II are allowed, but not, for example, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

I'll keep the entry thread open until I've decided we've got a good amount of entries. Good luck! :techman:

Might be a Chrome thing, but all of the other ones on the page are looping... odd.

Animated gifs tend to be borked on Chrome. I found a quick temporary fix is to open and then close a new tab, which causes the gifs on the original tab to start animating again.
