I think Blind Man's Bluff is way too old to be on this list. It was originally published in ebook and trade in April 2011 and then in paperback in December 2011. I don't think it was released in any format during 2012.

If he wants to include reprints BMB actually makes more sense on that list than The Body Electric, since the BMB reprint was the January 2012 release and The Body Electric is the January 2013 release.

Might be the January release but it was out in December!

^Technically a publishing year is February to January by cover date, so The Body Electric is the last book of the 2012 publishing year.

Hard to chose between the five books by David Mack and DRGIII but Persistence of Memory just takes it for me...

I have to go with Raise the Dawn, DRGIII brings back the greatness of DS9 even when the original station was destroyed. So good to have most of the crew back in the same place!

BTW this was a kick-ass year for Trek books. My very close second is Beyer's The Eternal Tide!

I had to vote for the Epic Vanguard ending Storming Heaven. Though I must agree that DRGIII's new books were a close second.

So far behind in my trek reading, I have only read DTI: Forgotten History of the 2012 novels which I quite enjoyed.

Plagues of Night or Raise the Dawn. They have Sisko, Odo, Picard, Kira, Ro, Worf, Deep Space 9, the Defiant, the Dominion; they have it all.

I went with Brinkmanship.

I've only read the DS9, TP and Titan books, and even though I know Beyer's VOY books are supposed to be spectacular, I haven't gotten around to them yet. So my choices were only between Plagues of Night, Raise the Dawn, Fallen Gods and Brinkmanship. Out of those Fallen Gods was aggressively mediocre, and Night/Dawn were good but didn't blow me away, while Brinkmanship I found fascinating and intriguing and extremely well written. So that's my choice.
