Warship Sketch
 

I found an sketch I had done a while ago even though I normally don't draw vessels, while cleaning and organizing for a likely move to Boston in the next few weeks. I thought it would be a good challenge for me to recreate on SketchUp.

The design certainly get points for being unique and original. I'll be interested to see how it turns out, if you do take it into 3d.

Here's work in process. I just did some additions and took a picture while taking break from the cleaning and packing.

I'll do the details once I'm done with the bottom of the ship and adding the little round engines between the two already in the picture.

Back to cleaning and packing.

Interesting design, but in 3D it reminds me of a ground defense turret or a gun handle. Definitely not a typical ship design. Looking forward to seeing where this goes. :)

Reminds me of the Babylon 5 Excalibur--destroyer class whitestar--the arms.
